- Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for process heating equipment based on the clients standards and product groups.
- Assessment of project related specification, requirements, deliverables, and budgets.
- Ensuring project time line is met and project stays within budget.
- Perform engineering calculations to support design work.
- Create and review technical drawings, plans and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, procedures, applicable codes, customer specifications, environmental and company guidelines.
Requirements- B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited 4-year university
- 2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering preferably related to process heating equipment such as fired heaters, boilers, and or furnaces.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, mechanical design, fabrication and construction.
- Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products.
- Experience using CAD software packages such as AutoCAD, Inventor or similar.
- Working knowledge of third-party organizations related to mechanical design such as ANSI, ASME, etc.
- Self-motivated and team worker.
- Ability to make accurate decisions based on good engineering practices and requirements.
