Job Description
- Develop and implement a risk-based internal audit plan to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive internal audits to evaluate the efficiency of business processes and the reliability of financial reporting.
- Provide guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality audit work.
- Collaborate with department heads and key stakeholders to identify areas of risk and recommend corrective actions to improve internal controls.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to enhance the internal audit function.
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and action plans for management and stakeholders.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Foster a culture of compliance and ethical behaviour within the organization.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on internal control best practices.
