Job Description
The National, the Middle East’s leading quality news organisation, is looking for a head of data visualisation.
We are looking for somebody with a record of turning raw data into striking visual stories that explain complex subjects in a compelling, eye-catching way. Candidates should have an inquiring mind, a relish for researching data, the ability to visualise how the final graphics will look and the technical skills to make it happen.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build and lead a team of five other data visualisation specialists and infographic artists. You should have extensive experience in producing animated and interactive graphics as well as 2D information graphics.
