Job Description

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, underlying schedules, and other financial reports.
  • Ensure that the books of accounts are compiled in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Compile financial reports and take the lead on the month-end closing process.
  • Coordinate with finance business partners and Corporate HQ teams for the monthly closing of books, analyze the reported numbers.
  • Work closely with the Financial reporting team to ensure that monthly reporting is done based on agreed timelines.
  • Prepare audit schedules and manage audit fieldwork.
  • Ensure accounting systems and the team are functioning according to policy and procedures, accounting standards, and accurately represent the Company's current standings.
  • Support the tax team on compliance matters and additional ad hoc projects.
  • Manage and implement internal policies, procedures, and controls based on Company requirements, targets, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement processes necessary to ensure accurate, timely, and meaningful sharing of financial information with key stakeholders.
  • Implement and drive the core financial processes and reporting for the business, including annual operating plans, long-term plans, and monthly/quarterly business reviews.
  • Analyze, interpret, and communicate financial information and develop periodic management reports to reflect the overall performance of the Company.
  • Actively participate in the implementation and development of the ERP and train accounting staff on its use.
  • Manage, guide, and mentor any team members reporting into him/her, identify potential talent among team members, and provide timely support for their learning and professional development.
  • Support a variety of ad hoc projects as required.
