- Utilize the diagnostic tools to find automotive issues.
- Deliver excellent customer service while outlining automotive repairs and problems.
- Uses charts, manuals, and experience, plan repair procedures.
- Test the components and systems functionality.
- Perform fundamental auto maintenance and care procedures like fluid level checks, tire rotations, and oil changes.
- Brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, and other components can be repaired and replaced.
- Conduct standard upkeep and general mechanical work on vehicles.
- Ready to acquire additional certification if necessary.

Requirements
- Experience repairing cars and engines or auto mechanic education is required.
- Required are ASE certifications.
- Possess an active drivers license.
- Completed an associates degree program in auto repair and maintenance.

- To keep accurate records, one must read, interpret, and transcribe data.
- Carry out regular upkeep and other tasks in a hurried setting.
- May lift up to 50 lb. of weight in objects.
- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Lube technician experience, or be willing to undergo on-the-job training.
- Knowledge of car air conditioning systems.
- Possibility of using the diagnostic tools.
- Diesel engine knowledge, heavy equipment experience, diesel mechanic experience, or the willingness to undergo on-the-job training.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
