• Manage and optimize AWS RDS instances
• Monitor and profile application queries
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team for future capacity planning
• Work with Python engineers to design application models and write performant queries

Database Administrator - Requirements:

• Proven experience with PostgreSQL for web applications
• Successful track record in designing scalable web services
• Expertise in tuning and optimizing SQL queries, indices, and other performance techniques
• Understanding of HTTP, caching, and performance tradeoffs

Database Administrator - Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Familiarity with Django
• Designing and deploying cloud services at scale, especially in AWS RDS
