On behalf of a leading infrastructure firm in Dublin, we are looking to hire a front office Senior Treasury Accountant.
A key immediate responsibility will be on the coordination of raising new finance for a new infrastructure development project. This is a key deliverable and will involve liaising with corporate finance advisors as well as existing and new lenders. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Management of and regular reporting on group treasury activities.
- Developing a detailed understanding of the funding requirements for each business across the group.
- Development of corporate models for the medium and long term.
- Managing the group s funding, liquidity and exposure to interest and foreign exchange rate risks.
- Negotiation of credit facilities with various banks.
- Management of liquidity risk by maintaining adequate reserves, banking facilities and reserve borrowing facilities, by continuously monitoring forecast and actual cash flows and matching the maturity profiles of financial assets and liabilities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA) and will have 5+ years experience. Additional competencies include;
- Experience of corporate treasury matters, including developing new lending facilities.
- Experience of financial modelling.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to operate on own initiative.
