Job Description
- Ensures timely and qualitative preparation of technical specifications and requisitions in coordination with other disciplines.
- Ensures contractual technical specifications are met by the suppliers.
- Development of Electrical Specifications, Data sheets, Schedules, Load List I/O list, Layout Drawings, Electrical MTO
- Ensures proper communication with vendors and technical follow up of the orders.
- Adheres to the committed man/hours and budget.
- Ensures timely reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer.
- Perform all associated Electrical calculations covering, equipment sizing, cable sizing, UPS sizing, etc.
- Meets quality and HSE objectives of the project.
- Interfaces with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to more junior employees within the team
About You:

- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred
- 14+ years of experience in Electrical design and engineering of oil & gas / large industrial projects
- Well versed with ETAP Software
