Job Description
GateSource HR Mining Division has partnered with a privately-funded junior exploration and development company with projects in South America.
At the stage of its development, the company will be looking to add a Head of Finance to its team, on a part-time basis and located in London.
Reporting to the CEO, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing financial and commercial interests in the country of operation
- Providing and assisting senior management with accurate information to improve costs management
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, planning and cost controlling
- Helping to identify gaps and solving discrepancies
- Maintaining internal control system
- Managing treasury, ensuring compliance with local tax environment
Requirements
- Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA, with +10 years post-qualified experience.
- Track record working within an entrepreneurial business environment
- Experience working with junior companies
- Knowledge of the South American environment preferred
- Communication skills in Spanish preferred.
