Responsibilities include:

Assist in the identification of students in need of physical therapy through screening and

Evaluate and treat individual children to develop actions in performance The occupational therapist deals with both physical and social development and is concerned with childrens ability to accomplish tasks related to their developmental

Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team in designing and implementing effective treatment programs as determined by the students individual educational

Relate the educational significance of occupational therapy treatments toward assisting in the students fullest potential and educational

Plan and implement an occupational therapy program for identified children to achieve necessary goals within the educational

Develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs that focus on assessment data and evaluated student progress using a data-based decision-making

Provide consultation and advisory services to the childs family, health care agencies, and community organizations as

Consult with the students physician concerning the students occupational therapy Consult, instruct, and monitor the student, family, and other educational staff in occupational therapy procedures as

Maintain appropriate written records and reports for each child served and/or

Requirements

Master s in Occupational

Washington State Occupational Therapy license

Certified or eligible for Washington State certification as an (ESA) educational staff associate endorsed for occupational therapy

Prior occupational therapy experience working with children with
