Enterprise Architect - Data Focused


Duration:- Full Time

Salary: Highly competitive salary at industry & market rates + benefits

Location: California City, CA, United States (Hybrid Role US Based)

Minimum: 8yrs solid relevant EA Experience

We're in search of a skilled architect who can join our client's team responsible for Data focused Enterprise Architecture. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Architect and have a deep understanding of widely accepted data architecture principles and standards, data modeling, security, privacy, regulations, and data replication. The candidate should also possess substantial experience in analytics platforms, tools, data transformation and ingestion tools, and database design.

As a member of a global architecture team, you'll collaborate to establish standards and document both current and future architectural states. Additionally, you'll work with business and IT teams to create future-state and business capability roadmaps. Ensuring that designs comply with established architectural principles and guidelines, the candidate will collaborate with Solution Architects. The candidate will also require excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and an ability to share their expertise effectively with IT leadership, development teams, and business stakeholders.

Role: The enterprise architect will convert business requirements into technical specifications and create data guidelines and values (in partnership with IT and non-IT stakeholders). The enterprise architect will be responsible for planning and designing the organization's overall data management structure.

They will supply a standard language, establish strategic requirements, outline high-level combined designs to satisfy those requirements, and align them with the enterprise's strategy and related business architecture.

They will take a leading role in developing and executing the information management plan. The enterprise architect will back the enterprise data architecture plan by governing the architectural framework for the enterprise data model, enterprise data store/warehouse, information management, and advanced data analytics capabilities.

The enterprise architect will offer guidance to cross-functional teams on data modeling, data access, data integration, data visualization, data discovery, data governance, database design, and implementation. They will collaborate with stakeholders, management, and teams to identify needs and direct the delivery of affordable, high-performance technology capacities utilizing enterprise information architecture principles and central data resources.

They will practice self-management and cultivate learning in others by seeking and acting on feedback. They will establish cooperative, multi-functional relationships, convey information and provide guidance to encourage enterprise data architecture decisions.

They will steadily raise the quality, consistency, availability, and security of our data activities throughout the company. The enterprise architect will partner with application, data, and analytics teams to document related data architecture definitions in clients' architecture database and keep it current.

They will be an active member of the Architecture Review Board (ARB), representing data and analytics and steering Architecture governance based on standards and roadmap. They will actively work with Domain Architects to resolve deviations from standards.

They will work with solution architects on significant project initiatives to provide architecture, solutions, and technical designs. They will supervise those initiatives through ARB and follow up on any ensuing action items.

They will assist in evaluating new technologies/tools in the data and analytics domain, both commercial and open source, and work with internal teams to drive build-vs-buy choices.

They will monitor industry trends in the data and analytics areas and actively work to quantify and qualify their impact on the current architecture and roadmap.

They will participate in industry forums and present when appropriate.
