As a Pastry Chef for the Central Kitchen you will be responsible in managing the daytoday operations of the pastry and bakery section of the kitchen. Preparation for the overall pastry needs of all the stores.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes cookies pies bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes.
- Work according to the menu specifications by the Chef de Partie
- Able to develop designs or creates new ideas and items for Pastry Kitchen.
- Ensure excellent quality throughout the dessert offerings.
- Follows proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
- Supervise and coordinate all pastry and dessert preparation and presentation.
- Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
- Ensuring Culinary Standards and Responsibilities are met for Pastry Team.
- Control food stock and food cost in his section
Requirements
- Proven 23 years work experience as Pastry Chef
- With Basic Food and Hygiene training
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to details and procedure.
