Our client is looking to hireaManager / Sr. Associate - Risk & Insurance who willbe responsible for the overall management of comprehensive corporate risk management/ insurance program with a concentration on risk identification, exposure assessment, risk transfer, risk retention, management of claims & liaising with insurance brokers and internal concerned staff in Procurement, Delivery & Commercial management
- The Manager should be familiar with OCIP and property program on corporate basis.
- The Manager shall coordinate with Legal, Safety, Finance and Operations to protect the clients assets and minimize liability exposure.
- Review and improve the insurance clauses/requirements in our suite of contracts for construction, consultants, property, FM services and any others
- Manage OCIP (Own Controlled Insurance Program) for large construction projects including claims management.
- Possess a thorough working knowledge of insurance products, coverage and pricing & stay abreast of any changes
- Familiar with local rules and regulations of insurance requirements and laws & any safety precautions to be complied with to minimize risks
- Work with loss control partners /loss adjusters
- Able to implement procedure for risk and insurance management.
- Proactively involved with the procurement team to meet their schedule of tenders and reviews of policies for agreements
Requirements
- 10 years experience in the insurance and risk industry preferably in the real estate development field
- 5 years experience in handling and managing OCIP
- Able to negotiate insurance language for contracts
- Good understanding of policy language & capable of reviewing /commenting on it
