Head of Logistics Operations

• Review financial reports for accuracy and consistency
• Control the P&L of DC’s, ensuring accurate monthly submissions to Finance Department
• Oversee proper preparation of orders and invoicing of Stores, to perform efficiently and with no negative impact on stores, while maintaining the inventory according to
• Company’s financial procedures
• Lead the deployment of continuous improvement actions, lean and 5S methods in all DC’s
• Ensure the operation delivers excellent customer service by developing efficient working relationships between teams at the Distribution Centre and the business stakeholders
• Practice the company values and guarantee the same is respected and followed by the department team members
• Plan for current and future demands including manpower requirements and operational resources, to meet prescribed productivity and service goals
• Be a role model and ensure the application of Majid Al Futtaim Retail corporate policies and guarantee the laws, regulations and cultural practices of the operating countries are followed and respected
• Provide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key roles
• Co-create an annual operating budget and manage a system of controls to ensure that service levels and operational performance goals are met within prescribed and approved cost
• Ensure the development of systems and procedures for operating and managing physical facilities, human resources, equipment and products in a cost-efficient manner
