Job Description
ARENGY is a DIGITAL & Engineering Services Companyoperating in the Middle East from Dubai. Our customers are the most successful industry leaders executing projects around the globe.
We are partnering with a very famoushigh-end Supercars mannufacturerwho is looking for aSenior Manufacturing Engineeras a permanent position based in Dubai. This car manufacturer will move to its new production plant in the coming months. With the launch of a new special vehicles (Police Patrol), their production will increase from 1 vehicle/month to 1 vehicle/day.
All processes have to be reviewed to be able to produce more, faster, and at a reduced cost.
The production is mainly composed of:
- Production of interior and exterior parts (fiber glass, carbon fiber, rapid prototyping, aluminum milling, welding, laser cutting)
- Assembly of these parts on a donor chassis,
- Integration of electronic equipment, wiring, lights, sensors, screens
- Upholstery, painting, testing
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer role will be to:
- Analysis of the current processes and process improvement recommendation
- Participation in the new factory layout and industrial means implementation.
- Design and test new equipment, processes, procedures and systems
- Define new jigs and tools to facilitate, optimize the manufacturing
- Jigs and tools supplier consultation, RFI, RFP process, award
- liaising with suppliers, customers, partners and research and development staff.
- Supervision of the installation of equipment
- Implement methodologies and processes
- Support in the production team recruitment
- Liaise with Engineering team and production team
- Manage budget
- Liaise with Quality Manager
- Plan and organize maintenance
- Identify risks and prepare contingency plans
- Report to management
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Engineering.
- 5-10 years minimum in manufacturing engineering role
- Experience in small series automotive environment
- Very good level of English
- Strong leadership and good communication skills
- Very dynamic, able to work in fast pace environment
- Hard worker
- Demonstrated passion for Automotive, especially for Sports Car and Competition
