Job Description

ITP Gaming, part of ITP Media Group, is looking for a dynamic and driven Head of Content & Partnerships. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience working in the gaming industry.

In this role, the candidate will need to develop and implement the content strategies for our B2B industry conferences and B2C events located across the GCC and Africa, our new consumer-facing gaming IP, our community gaming tournaments and all social media channels with a focus on KSA and UAE.

The job also requires the successful candidate to expand partnerships within the gaming industry, regionally and globally, along with identifying new business opportunities within our client network.

The candidate will have well-rounded experience across the gaming ecosystem and support the commercial team with creative conceptualisation and drive innovation which is also an important part of the role.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of content strategy for our B2B focused industry conferences, consumer-oriented events, consumer-facing gaming IP, community gaming tournaments and social media channels
  • On-boarding speakers and partners for year-round conferences and events, including our flagship B2B event Digital Games Conference MEA
  • Overseeing the launch of our editorial IP, Middle East Gamer, building and managing a team to run it
  • Overseeing our community gaming tournament strategy and assisting commercial team to on-board sponsors and partners
  • Developing and expanding partnerships within the gaming industry regionally and globally
  • Identifying potential business opportunities within our gaming network
  • Supporting commercial team with creative concepts and pitches
  • Working alongside internal and external marketing teams to deliver and optimize promotional assets and define new marketing opportunities
  • Overseeing and supervising the tracking and execution of various content and marketing related initiatives
  • Ensuring internal and external stakeholders are aligned with timelines and deliverables
  • Writing press releases for our gaming activations and events
  • Well-rounded extensive experience in the gaming industry is a must
  • Experience of managing a team of multimedia content creators
  • A strong knowledge of the MENA region s gaming ecosystem
  • A background in editorial/content creation
  • Communication and presentation experience is essential for the role
  • Administrative duties include managing invoices, POs etc
  • Willingness to travel across GCC
  • Arabic speaker is an advantage
