Senior Manager Operations

Responsibilities:

Responsible for various deliverables from the PPG-Welding Engineering group, listed (but not limited to) below:

Ensure development of Project Welding Qualification Execution Plan that define the full scope of Weld Procedures required, schedule of qualification, quantity of welding consumables and materials required for qualification. Ensure that proper priorities relevant to project schedules are established and review progress

Review and approval of all Project Weld Procedures through direct and indirect communications with the customer and Certifying Authority

Provide guidance to Welding Engineering group for selection of electrodes based on their physical and chemical and corrosion properties as well as considering their weldability and economics

Review project schedules, material control reports and welding consumable estimates to determine changes to the welding execution plan

Assist in the support and development of new automatic welding systems and R & D

Review and estimates for bids

Readiness review for important offshore campaigns
