Retail Design Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Prepare store lay-outsfor Leased concession shop-in-shops and Free-Standing stores usingautocad.
• Manage and coordinate allarchitectural and construction activities involved with therenovation or creation of a retail or wholesale store
• Manage all construction related work on projects ensuringon time, on budget and quality control from inception tocompletion
• Responsible for all bidding,qualifying , negotiating and awarding of general contractor bidsand all related vendor proposals
• Detailoriented
• Coordination of all consultantsinvolved with a project
• Review of architectsconstruction documents to ensure consistency of brand andcompleteness of drawings meeting all local codes, as well as allvendor related shop drawings
• Ensure drawingsare coordinated and submitted to necessary parties forapprovals
• Establish contact withlandlord’s team to obtain drawings, timeline, guidelinesand all other necessary start up information
• Manage capital spending of the project to ensure projectstays on budget
• Visit construction sites andprepare reports (from layout to punch list completion and turnover)to ensure quality of building construction and millworkinstallation, identifying outstanding issues and ensuringappropriate follow-up
• Able to trouble-shootand be proactive to solve issues that arise
• Responsible for cost tracking of project, includingreview and approval of all project related invoices
• Responsible to ensure project is closed out within thegiven time frame with the required close-out information
