crane techniciana heavy equipment mechanic who maintains and repairs cranes. They're responsible for routine maintenance tasks like lubricating parts and performing inspections, in addition to more major repair jobs like replacing and repairing parts to ensure proper operation.

A hydraulic technicianinstalls, maintains and repairs hydraulic components on equipment. In order to complete their work, they are expected to read blueprints and diagrams while troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.

Responsibilities: Assisting the mechanical engineer with mechanical design and maintenance tasks. Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems. Developing and implementing mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
