The United Arab Emirates is unlike almost any other country in the world due to its incredibly high number of expats and immigrants. Dubai, home to the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, is one of the world’s most diverse and international cities. People from over 200 different nationalities live and work in the UAE, which makes it a truly unique and diverse place to visit or live. Emirati culture is based on Arabian culture, with influences from the cultures of East Africa and India. Although Islam has had a prominent influence on local architecture, music, attire, cuisine, and lifestyle, the UAE is an inclusive country which invites people from all over the world, regardless of race, religion, or culture.
