- Responsible for preparing, presenting and managing the execution of the annual Sales Plan.
- To design and implement a continuous pro-active, selling strategy and action plan, which will drive the optimisation of hotel profits.
- To have the foresight to capture any unexpected opportunities, and implement recovery plans to counter act threats to business.
- Responsible for Rate preparation, Contract Development and Market Negotiations for local and international partners.
- Supervises preparations and definition of the Sales plan and manual for the department and participates in setting up the marketing policies, procedures and objectives
- Lead sales strategy meetings to provide input on weekly and overall sales strategy
- Maintains permanent files for all corporate, group and travel trade accounts with strong room/night potential.
