STRUCTURAL BIM MODELER

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage detailed structural BIM models using Revit based on design drawings specifications and coordination inputs.
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers and other disciplines (architectural MEP) to ensure proper integration and clash-free modeling.
• Prepare accurate shop drawings sections and detailed views from BIM models for construction use.
• Participate in interdisciplinary coordination meetings and contribute to clash detection and resolution using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Ensure compliance with project BIM standards and execution plans.
• Maintain model accuracy throughout the design and construction phases including model updates reflecting site changes or RFIs.
• Support documentation processes and assist in exporting data and drawings as required for submission and site execution.
• Coordinate with site and design teams to ensure timely delivery of modeling and drawing outputs.

Key Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Structural BIM Modeler in the UAE/GCC construction industry.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit (Structure) AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Strong knowledge of structural detailing for reinforced concrete and steel.
• Experience working on mid to large-scale building or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with BIM standards and workflows including LOD and drawing production protocols.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
• Candidates must be locally available in the UAE/GCC and ready to join immediately.
