SR. STRUCTURAL DRAFTSMAN

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed shop drawings for structural elements including foundations columns beams slabs and other concrete and steel components.
• Develop coordination drawings in line with architectural and MEP disciplines to ensure clash-free construction.
• Interpret structural design drawings and specifications to produce clear and compliant drafting deliverables.
• Revise and update drawings based on site conditions RFIs and engineering mark-ups.
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers site teams and other drafting disciplines to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to local authority standards company protocols and project specifications.
• Maintain up-to-date drawing logs and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
• Provide support to site teams during construction with required drawing revisions or clarifications.
  

Key Qualifications:

• Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
• Minimum 8 years drafting experience with at least 5 years in the UAE/ GCC contracting companies
• Strong command of AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit Structure or BIM tools is a plus.
• Extensive experience in preparing coordination drawings and multi-disciplinary integration.
• Familiarity with UAE/GCC construction standards and authority requirements.
• High level of accuracy attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
• Must be available to join within 2 weeks.
