As a Service Advisor you will interact directly with customers to understand their needs and provide the Service Technician Team with the necessary information to offer exceptional service.
Main Responsibilities to include:
- Respond to customer inquiries technical questions and service maintenance contracts inperson or over the phone
- Use vehicle evaluation papers to inform customers about the repair teams findings and any additional service needs
- Update customer records in the system with the most recent mileage servicing and repairs
- Provide service options and additional offerings
- Prepare repair estimates and keep customers informed of charges
- Provide regular updates to customers on repair progress
- Create precise and detailed repair orders that identify customer concerns know issues and probable causes as well as the services and repairs required
- Prepare a proforma invoice for services fees
- Other adhoc tasks as needed by the business
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Service Advisor or similar role
- Proficient in using related software
- Excellent customer service interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational decisionmaking and problemsolving abilities
