Senior Mechanical Engineer-HVAC

• Design and review HVAC systems including heating ventilation air conditioning and related mechanical services.

• Prepare load calculations duct sizing and equipment selection using relevant software (e.g. HAP Ductulator AutoCAD Revit).

• Review and ensure compliance with project specifications ASHRAE SMACNA and local authority standards.

• Prepare technical submittals shop drawings and method statements.

• Coordinate with other MEP and civil teams to resolve design and site-related issues.

• Supervise installation testing and commissioning activities at site.

• Conduct inspections and ensure that works are executed according to approved drawings and quality standards.

• Support procurement by preparing material requisitions and reviewing vendor quotations.

• Assist in preparing project progress reports and attending coordination meetings.

• Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental requirements during all project stages.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 58 years of experience in HVAC design installation and site supervision (preferably in building construction infrastructure or oil & gas projects).

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems equipment selection and international standards (ASHRAE SMACNA DW144).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and MS Office; knowledge of HAP or similar software preferred.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
