* Manage daily accounting transactions including accounts payable accounts receivable receipts payments and journal entries.
* Prepare and maintain accurate invoices vouchers receipts and other financial documents.
* Perform bank supplier customer and ledger reconciliations.
* Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and ensure timely follow-up.
* Assist with monthly closing financial reports and management reporting.
* Maintain proper documentation and records of all accounting transactions.
* Assist in the preparation and submission of UAE VAT returns and ensure compliance with applicable VAT requirements.
* Coordinate with suppliers customers banks and internal departments regarding finance-related matters.
* Assist with payroll-related accounting activities as required.
* Support internal and external audits by providing the required financial records and documentation.
* Monitor expenses and ensure transactions are properly recorded and supported by relevant documents.
* Ensure compliance with company financial policies procedures and applicable UAE regulations.
* Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Commerce or a related field.
* Minimum 46 years of relevant accounting experience with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role.
* Native Arabic speaker with strong English communication skills.
* Strong hands-on experience on UAE accounting practices VAT and financial reporting.
* Proven experience handling full-cycle accounting including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger reconciliations and month-end closing.
* Strong knowledge of UAE VAT compliance and VAT return preparation.
* Experience in preparing financial statements management reports account schedules and reconciliations.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
* Experience with Tally Zoho Books SAP Oracle or similar accounting/ERP systems.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles internal controls and financial procedures.
* Excellent analytical problem-solving and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently take ownership of accounting activities and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with management auditors banks suppliers customers and internal teams.
* Professional qualification such as ACCA CMA CA or equivalent will be an advantage.
* Candidates available to join on short notice will be preferred.
