Quality Control Inspectors ( QCI ) Civil

Civil Inspection Activities

• Conduct inspection of civil and structural activities such as excavation formwork rebar placement concrete finishing and backfilling.

• Verify that all materials and workmanship comply with approved project specifications standards and ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).

• Review and verify civil work procedures method statements and checklists before execution.

• Ensure that approved drawings and latest revisions are being used on site.

• Witness and document all quality control tests (e.g. slump test cube test compaction test etc.).

• Prepare and maintain inspection reports non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective action records.

• Coordinate with construction engineering and QA/QC teams to resolve quality issues.

• Ensure compliance with applicable international standards (ASTM ACI BS ISO) and client specifications.

• Participate in internal and external audits and assist in closing audit findings.

• Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure quality requirements are met.

• Support continuous improvement of quality systems and site processes.

Qualifications :

• Education: Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

• Experience: Minimum 58 years of experience as a Civil QCI in EPC or construction projects (preferably in oil & gas petrochemical or industrial sectors early civil works concrete works road and compaction activities).

• Familiar with project specifications QA/QC procedures ITPs and method statements.

• Knowledge of international standards (ASTM ACI BS ISO).

• Understanding of EPC project lifecycle.
