- Provides design support services, performs process design calculations and detailed engineering, equipment sizing, and selection.
- Prepares process design reports, case studies, and other technical documents.
- Develops design alternatives, concept design schemes, process diagrams, preliminary layouts, and other basic engineering drawings.
- Reviews and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, process calculations, equipment datasheets, and other design documents and identify areas of design optimization for cost competitiveness.
- Liaises with vendors, third parties, and individuals both inside and outside of the organization to receive budgetary quotes and rates of certain equipment, chemicals, consumables, spare parts, and other services.
- Conducts site visits, inspections, and participates in plant assets condition assessment surveys, and prepare due diligence reports.
- Takes full accountability for effectively prioritizing and managing their own workload
- Proven team player across multiple departments
