As an IRD Order Taker at DELANO Dubai you will be the key link between guests and in-room dining service ensuring every order is handled with precision warmth and efficiency. You will deliver a seamless discreet and elevated service experience that reflects the luxury standards and effortless style of the DELANO brand.

  • Guest Communication Excellence: Answer all in-room dining calls promptly with a warm polished and professional manner ensuring guests feel valued and well cared for
  • Order Accuracy: Take detailed food and beverage orders accurately ensuring all preferences modifications and dietary requirements are clearly captured
  • Menu Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge of all IRD menus ingredients preparation methods and timings to confidently guide guest choices
  • Service Coordination: Communicate orders clearly and efficiently to kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth timely and accurate delivery
  • Guest Experience Ownership: Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful recommendations to enhance comfort and in-room dining experience
  • Order Tracking: Monitor order progress and proactively update guests on timing or any relevant service updates
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all orders are checked for accuracy and presentation standards before dispatch
  • Complaint Handling: Address guest queries or concerns promptly and professionally escalating where necessary to ensure swift resolution
  • System Proficiency: Accurately input and manage orders using hotel systems with attention to detail and efficiency
  • Service Standards: Maintain a calm organised and guest-focused approach in a fast-paced high-volume luxury environment

Qualifications :

  • Luxury Experience: Proven experience in luxury hospitality ideally within in-room dining call centre or front office operations in a luxury hotel
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication with a polished calm and guest-focused telephone manner
  • Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of hotel operations sequence of service and luxury guest standards
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in order taking system input and guest request handling
  • Service Mindset: Ability to remain composed and efficient under pressure while delivering consistent service excellence
  • Team Collaboration: Works closely with kitchen service and front office teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Educational Background: A relevant qualification such as a Bachelors degree or diploma in Hospitality Management (or equivalent experience) is preferred reflecting a commitment to professional standards
