ملخص الوظيفة

BG Global is hiring for the starch manufacturing industry and is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery ensuring maximum equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

- Perform maintenance and repairs on pumps gearboxes agitators centrifuges grinders rotary valves dryers sifters conveyors bucket elevators and - other rotating equipment.

- Carry out preventive predictive and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime.

- Perform equipment alignment and leveling using precision instruments.

- Monitor and maintain inventory of mechanical spare parts.

- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and recommend corrective actions.

- Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene and HSE standards.

- Maintain maintenance records and coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth plant operations.

Requirements

- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

- 35 years of experience in the starch manufacturing industry.

- Hands-on experience maintaining rotating equipment and heavy industrial machinery.

- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.

- Understanding of food safety hygiene and industrial maintenance standards.

- Ability to read mechanical drawings and troubleshoot equipment effectively.

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
