Job Summary (List Format):
- Inspect diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and performance issues in a variety of engines.
- Perform repairs and maintenance including disassembly overhauling and replacement of faulty engine components and systems.
- Manage inventory of spare parts order required components and maintain accurate documentation.
- Follow manufacturer-recommended service schedules and carry out preventive maintenance tasks (oil changes filter replacements routine inspections etc.).
- Test and verify engine performance after repairs to ensure proper functionality and quality standards.
- Provide professional customer service including addressing concerns explaining repair processes and offering maintenance advice.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs maintenance and parts usage; complete necessary reports and documentation.
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations in all work activities.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with customers.
- Demonstrate technical expertise problem-solving skills and precision in all tasks related to marine engine maintenance and repair.
