ملخص الوظيفة
Air Q Limited is looking for an experienced Material Planner to manage BOM-driven material planning ordering availability and tracking for our Assembly Integration & Testing (AIT) operations.
The role will play a key part in ensuring materials are available against the production schedule preventing shortages and establishing a structured material/job-order tracking process that can support future digitization.
Key Responsibilities
- Own BOM-driven material ordering and material availability planning for assembly and testing activities.
- Coordinate with Procurement and suppliers to prevent material shortages and production delays.
- Monitor material availability against production schedules.
- Identify and resolve gaps in the existing material and job-order tracking process.
- Maintain accurate material stock consumption and order records.
- Support the development and improvement of material tracking processes.
- Coordinate closely with Procurement Planning Warehouse and the shop floor.
- Monitor material risks and proactively flag potential shortages or delays to the VP of AIT.
- Ensure BOM ordering accuracy and timely material availability.
- Work with ERP/MRP systems for material ordering tracking and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Industrial Engineering or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 5 years of experience in material planning supply chain or production planning preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems for material ordering and tracking is required.
- Strong understanding of BOM-driven material planning.
- Experience in stock/consumption tracking and material reporting.
- Experience in material tracking process improvement or process design.
- Strong coordination skills across Procurement Planning Warehouse and Production/Shop Floor teams.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Process-oriented mindset with the ability to bring structure to evolving processes.
