ملخص الوظيفة

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise workshop technicians apprentices and other workshop personnel.
  • Plan schedule and prioritize daily workshop activities and work orders.
  • Ensure marine repair servicing and maintenance activities are completed efficiently and within customer deadlines.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to workshop staff on marine systems troubleshooting repairs and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular team training coaching and performance evaluations.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance procedures for all workshop activities.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure repair and maintenance work meets required quality and technical standards.
  • Monitor workshop productivity manpower utilization and overall operational efficiency.
  • Develop and manage workshop budgets including labor spare parts tools and other materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the timely procurement of required parts tools and consumables.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and availability of workshop tools and equipment.
  • Enforce health and safety procedures and ensure compliance with applicable workplace safety regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain proper workshop records service documentation and work-order information.
  • Communicate with customers regarding service requirements repair status estimated completion timelines and other technical matters.
  • Address customer concerns and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with the Sales Manager and other departments to ensure smooth customer service and workshop operations.
  • Stay updated on developments trends technologies and best practices within the marine industry.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workshop processes productivity service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a marine workshop environment preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of marine repair maintenance servicing and marine systems.
