About the Role
We are hiring a qualified and enthusiastic Homeroom Teacher/Year 5/6 Primary Teacher (Mathematics Specialist) British Curriculum Upper Primary Teacher with a strong Mathematics background to teach Years 5 and 6 within the British Curriculum for one of our esteemed international level well-established British Curriculum school in Al Ain UAE. Candidates must demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a proven ability to raise student achievement in Teachers with significant experience teaching Mathematics at Upper Primary level are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Year 5/6 lessons aligned with the British Curriculum.
Plan and teach high-quality Mathematics lessons.
Prepare students for academic progression through effective assessment and targeted intervention.
Monitor student performance and provide regular feedback.
Promote an engaging inclusive and positive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student success
Create a safe stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning.
Support childrens academic emotional social physical and creative development.
Observe assess and monitor childrens progress maintaining accurate learning records.
Differentiate learning activities to meet individual developmental needs.
Encourage curiosity creativity communication and independent thinking.
Establish positive relationships with pupils parents and colleagues.
Maintain effective classroom management and positive behaviour strategies.
Participate in school events meetings parent consultations and professional development activities.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding child protection health and safety policies.
