Heavy Truck Mechanic

Join our logistics company in UAE, as a Heavy Truck Mechanic specializing in prime movers like Scania, Volvo, and MAN. You will be instrumental in maintaining, repairing, and overhauling our heavy-duty truck fleet to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy prime movers.

- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire checks.

- Inspect and repair engine, transmission, clutch, suspension, steering, and brakes.

- Utilize diagnostic tools such as Jaltest for effective troubleshooting.

- Replace faulty parts like fuel pumps, injectors, alternators, and gearboxes.

- Maintain precise service records and communicate completed work efficiently.

- Specialize in Scully system repair, calibration, and troubleshooting for diesel tankers.

- Maintain and repair valves for loading/unloading operations.

- Install, service, and troubleshoot Robin PTO pumps.

- Test, maintain, and report on battery control systems.

Requirements & Skills:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in tanker maintenance.

- Expertise in RTA truck passing procedures.

- Proficiency in maintaining and repairing GPS devices for fleet vehicles.

- Ability to install, repair, and manage camera surveillance systems.

- Strong electrical and mechanical skills, particularly for heavy vehicles.

- In-depth knowledge of fuel handling safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in similar roles.

- Certification in heavy truck maintenance and repair.
