Graphic Designer, Rixos Middle East, Asia & Europe

You will be responsible to provide an excellent and consistent level of service to your customers along with efficient running of the department in line with Rixoss Corporate Strategies and brand standards whilst meeting employee guest and owner expectations.

As a graphic designer you will also be responsible to assist the PR Manager and / or the Director of Marketing to develop implement monitor and evaluate the hotels marketing communications strategy including advertising promotions public relations graphics and collateral so as to support the marketing objectives for the hotel and maximise the hotels positive exposure in local national and international markets.

You must be a strong conceptual thinker who possesses a wide range of design capabilities including a solid background in print packaging branding typography and digital design and art directing photo shoots. Preferably both studio and location photography.

Expertise in Creative suite software and industry standard programmes such as InDesign Photoshop Illustrator for use in print and digital mediums. 

Performs all duties & responsibilities in a timely & efficient manner in accordance with established hotel policies to achieve position objectives.

Handles incoming calls and ensures messages are taken and details are forwarded to the person concerned.

Attends departmental & communication meeting as requested by Director of Sales.

Attends major events in hotel & city as requested by Department Head.

Ensures that Rixos Hotels Sales & Marketing Policies and Standard Operational Procedures are adhered to at all times.

To promote efficiency confidence courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.

To promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.

To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.

To demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times when representing the hotel thus identifying a high level of commitment.

Maintains professional business confidentiality.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office & Microsoft outlook. Uses technology available for reports communication and client correspondences.

Flexible to adapt to sudden increase in working hours as per business needs.

To ensure that the standards required by Law and by Management are maintained at all times in the areas specified above.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree or diploma in Graphic Design Visual Communications Multimedia or a related field.

- Minimum 23 years of graphic design experience preferably within the hospitality hotel luxury or lifestyle industry.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop Illustrator InDesign and Acrobat.

- Experience creating both digital and print marketing collateral including social media content brochures menus flyers banners and promotional materials.

- Strong understanding of branding guidelines and the ability to maintain brand consistency across all communications.

- Basic knowledge of photography photo retouching and video editing (Premiere Pro or After Effects is an advantage).

- Familiarity with social media content creation and digital marketing trends.

- Excellent creativity typography layout and visual storytelling skills.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards.

- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

- Experience working with luxury hotel brands or international hospitality companies is highly desirable.
