ملخص الوظيفة
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Foreman to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a General Foreman you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects ensuring they are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities including scheduling resource allocation and quality control
- Supervise and lead multiple teams of workers subcontractors and trades personnel
- Interpret and communicate project plans blueprints and specifications to team members
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations local building codes and company policies
- Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or concerns promptly
- Collaborate with project managers architects and engineers to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines
- Manage project budgets track expenses and implement cost-saving measures when necessary
- Prepare and submit detailed progress reports to upper management
- Mentor and train junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge
- Maintain open communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction management with a proven track record of successful project completion
- Strong knowledge of construction industry standards best practices and local building codes in Dubai
- Excellent project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints technical drawings and specifications
- In-depth understanding of construction equipment operation and maintenance
- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting cost control and resource allocation
- Outstanding leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Familiarity with UAE labor laws and construction regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends when required
