Financial Controller

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of comprehensive financial statements including departmental P&Ls (rooms F&B spa events) and monthly quarterly and annual reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with UAE accounting standards and requirements.

• Manage financial forecasting and budgeting processes aligned with hotel operations including revenue projections based on occupancy rates ADR and RevPAR metrics to support strategic decision-making.

• Monitor cash flow working capital and financial performance across all revenue and cost centers identifying opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency improvements.

• Ensure full compliance with UAE tax regulations VAT requirements labor law provisions auditing standards and hotel-specific financial policies and controls.

• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management and department heads informed by industry trends and competitive benchmarking to drive business strategy and operational improvements.

• Supervise and develop the finance team establish internal controls and foster a culture of financial accountability and compliance throughout the organization.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field; professional accounting qualification such as ACCA CPA or CMA is an advantage.
• Minimum 57 years of previous experience in a Financial Controller or senior Finance management role in a hotel is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hotel accounting financial reporting budgeting forecasting and cost control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial/accounting systems; experience with hotel finance systems.
• Good understanding of UAE financial regulations VAT tax requirements and accounting standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with senior management and department heads.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills with the ability to develop and motivate the Finance team.
• High level of integrity attention to detail confidentiality and commitment to financial controls and compliance.
