Duct Fabricator

• Fabricate HVAC ductwork fittings and accessories as per approved shop drawings and fabrication details.
• Read and interpret HVAC fabrication drawings duct layouts and cutting schedules.
• Measure mark cut bend fold notch and assemble GI stainless steel and aluminum duct sheets using appropriate fabrication tools and machinery.
• Install duct stiffeners flanges cleats corners and reinforcement as specified in fabrication drawings.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as guillotine shears press brakes Pittsburgh lock machines lock formers notchers rollers grooving machines and spot welding machines safely and efficiently.
• Ensure fabricated duct sections comply with approved dimensions tolerances and quality requirements.
• Inspect fabricated components for defects before dispatch to the installation team.
• Minimize material wastage by following approved cutting plans and fabrication procedures.
• Maintain fabrication tools machines and work areas in good operating condition.
• Coordinate with the HVAC Foreman regarding fabrication priorities and production schedules.
• Assist in loading unloading and proper storage of fabricated duct sections.
• Comply with company HSE policies and wear appropriate PPE during fabrication activities.

Qualifications :

• ITI / Trade Certificate in Sheet Metal Mechanical HVAC or an equivalent technical trade.
• Minimum 35 years of experience as a Duct Fabricator in HVAC projects.
• Experience in Oil & Gas Petrochemical Refinery LNG or Industrial EPC projects is preferred.
• Experience in fabrication of GI stainless steel and aluminum ductwork is highly desirable.

Additional Information :

• Must be able to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
• Will be required to work on high platforms or confined spaces adhering strictly to safety standards.
• May be required to work overtime or extended shifts based on project deadlines.
