Consultant Physical Medicine Rehabilitation

Healthpoint Hospital in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Consultant in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) to enrich its multidisciplinary team. As a Consultant Physical Medicine Rehabilitation, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating musculoskeletal and neurological conditions to help patients regain functionality and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions

- Develop personalized treatment plans to address individual needs

- Administer therapeutic procedures such as injections, nerve blocks, and EMG/NCS tests

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care

- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes and expectations

- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Requirements & Skills:

- Possess a medical degree and accredited PM&R specialty training

- Hold a Tier 1 DOH qualification

- Have 3-5 years of post-board experience in a reputable medical facility

- Proven expertise in evaluating and managing diverse physical rehabilitation cases

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

- Valid license to practice as a Consultant in Physical Medicine Rehabilitation

Preferred Qualifications:

- Board certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

- Experience in conducting research or publishing scholarly articles in the field

- Proficiency in Arabic language is a plus
