Construction Manager (Bridge Construction)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to lead our bridge construction projects in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Construction Manager specializing in bridge construction you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bridge projects from inception to completion ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans including timelines budgets and resource allocation
• Coordinate with architects engineers and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities ensuring compliance with design specifications safety regulations and quality standards
• Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks throughout the construction process
• Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders including clients and senior management
• Ensure adherence to local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
• Implement and maintain strict safety protocols on construction sites
• Manage and mentor project team members fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
• Analyze and optimize construction methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in bridge construction projects with a proven track record of successful project delivery
• Strong knowledge of bridge design and construction techniques including pre-stressed concrete and steel structures
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software and construction management software
• Excellent project management skills including budgeting scheduling and resource allocation
• In-depth understanding of construction safety regulations and quality control standards
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisive decisions under pressure
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong risk assessment and management capabilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements
