Business Development Manager
Role Overview
An ambitious Business Development Manager responsible for business development and account management within the assigned region. The successful candidate will champion our Clients brand connecting customer challenges and opportunities with the companys diagnostic solutions while developing and executing an effective market strategy to deliver sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Expand our Clients business within the assigned market.
Develop and execute market strategies business development plans sales activities and account management initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders across all relevant asset teams and departments.
Develop a thorough understanding of customer business needs operational challenges and opportunities aligning them with our Clients capabilities.
Maintain an advanced working knowledge of our Clients products services and diagnostic technologies.
Keep up to date with competitors strengths weaknesses and diagnostic capabilities.
Identify develop and deliver profitable business growth opportunities.
Ensure compliance with the companys Code of Conduct and HSE regulations at all times.
Maintain sales forecasts and opportunity pipelines using Salesforce CRM coordinating with other business units as required.
Liaise with customers and the communications team to develop case studies technical articles and other marketing materials.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent from a recognized university preferably in Engineering or Business Administration.
Minimum 7 years experience in the oilfield services industry preferably within cased-hole flow and/or integrity diagnostics or a related sector.
Minimum 5 years experience in oilfield sales and account management preferably within the cased-hole diagnostics sector.
Strong ambition to progress into senior business management global sales or marketing leadership roles.
Excellent communication skills with a genuine passion for engaging customers and connecting their business needs with technical solutions.
Sound technical knowledge of diagnostic techniques and technologies used to evaluate well flow and integrity throughout the well lifecycle.
Proactive ambitious energetic and results-driven.
Working knowledge of the Salesforce CRM platform.
