International Community Schools (ICS) Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional with strong accounting knowledge preferably with previous experience working within a school or education environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records
- Prepare reconciliations reports and supporting financial documentation
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Support school fee-related accounting and reconciliation processes
- Assist with budgeting audits and month-end/year-end closing
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies and UAE requirements
- Coordinate with school branches departments suppliers and other stakeholders
- Support the Finance team with other accounting and administrative duties as required
- Knowledge of the Russian language is highly preferred

Required Education:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field Previous accounting experience preferably within a school or education group Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting/ERP systems Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of the Russian language is highly preferred
