Were looking for a Junior Reporter whos passionate about lifestyle and entertainment and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced newsroom. This role is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail a hunger for uncovering great stories and a love for creating content across platformsprint digital and social.
Youll be part of a dynamic editorial team contributing to both online and print features supporting editors in content creation and representing Whats On at events across the UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Write and research lifestyle and entertainment content for both print and digital platforms.
- Attend and cover events launches and press briefings on behalf of Whats On.
- Pitch fresh ideas and assist the editor with developing feature content.
- Collaborate with video producers and editors to storyboard and script short-form video content.
- Create engaging social media content that complements editorial features.
- Ensure all copy adheres to Whats Ons tone and style guidelines.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in journalism Communications English or a related field.
- 12 years of relevant experience in editorial or content creation (internships included).
- Strong writing and research skills with an adaptable tone.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) and basic photo editing tools is a plus.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- A keen interest in the UAE and Saudi lifestyle entertainment and dining scenes.
Motivate Media Group is the regions leading multi-platform content producer with a diverse portfolio of media interests comprising magazines digital social video exhibitions & events cinema books and OOH.

Required Skills:
