Job Overview

Our client in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Operations Engineer to oversee mechanical and pneumatic component maintenance operational performance and engineering support activities. The role involves supervising equipment overhaul ensuring compliance with OEM standards and supporting continuous improvement in operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee disassembly inspection repair and reassembly of mechanical and pneumatic components
Ensure all work meets OEM standards and customer specifications
Supervise and perform functional testing of overhauled components including pressure and flow verification
Collect analyze and summarize operational and engineering data for management reporting
Develop and maintain operational standards and procedures
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Monitor team performance and operational capability
Ensure the use of proper tools calibrated instruments and safety procedures
Monitor PPE usage and workplace safety compliance
Maintain 5S standards in the work area
Coordinate with engineers technicians and clients to achieve operational goals
Monitor preventive maintenance of equipment and systems
Identify cost optimization and operational improvement initiatives
Maintain service logs and internal operational records

Requirements

BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 3 years of experience OR
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 6 years of experience

Preferred Industry Background

Experience in the following industries is preferred:

Power Plants
Fertilizers
Steel
Cement
Paper
