OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:
The Sales Coordinator Outside Catering provides comprehensive administrative system and coordination support to the Outside Catering Sales team ensuring the efficient management of sales processes and documentation. The role is responsible for handling sales inquiries maintaining accurate and uptodate records of proposals contracts and client data within the Sales & Catering system and related platforms in line with Marriott audit and compliance standards and supporting sales reporting and data addition the position conducts sales research and lead data support for the onproperty sales team supports ecommerce administration and assists the Sales team with logistics coordination when required for sales activities promotions trade shows and familiarization visits. Through strong organizational skills and attention to detail the role supports internal efficiency compliance and the overall effectiveness of the Outside Catering Sales function.
Provide efficient and accurate administrative support to the Outside Catering Sales team ensuring smooth daytoday operations.
Coordinate internal and external communications track inquiries and requests and follow up to ensure timely responses and appropriate prioritization.
Maintain track and archive proposals contracts and related documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Maintain and update the Sales & Catering system and other related platforms with accurate client event and revenue data in line with audit and compliance standards.
Assist in coordinating with operations culinary and logistics teams to ensure accurate event details and seamless execution.
Support vendor and supplier coordination related to outside catering events including sourcing documentation and basic commercial followup as required.
Prepare and maintain sales reports forecasts presentations and spreadsheets to support performance tracking and decisionmaking.
Maintain organized and uptodate records of client agreements contracts and event files.
Answer and screen sales-related telephone and email inquiries professionally ensuring accurate message handling and followthrough.
Record distribute and track actions from sales meetings and operational coordination meetings as required.
Assist in planning and coordinating client meetings site inspections tastings and hosted lunches or dinners for outside catering prospects and partners.
Support sales activities related to industry events trade shows client events and promotional initiatives for outside catering services.
Ensure adherence to brand standards service excellence and internal policies across all administrative and client-facing activities.
