• Receive inspect and properly store incoming materials supplies and equipment according to company standards and safety protocols
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using digital systems and inventory management software
• Issue materials and supplies to departments as per requisition requirements while ensuring proper documentation
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with transparency and analytical precision
• Coordinate with procurement and departmental teams to ensure timely stock replenishment and optimal inventory levels
• Organize and maintain a clean safe and efficient storage area that complies with all safety regulations and company policies
• Prepare and submit comprehensive inventory reports to management highlighting key metrics and trends
• Monitor stock levels proactively and identify slow-moving obsolete or damaged items for appropriate action
• Assist in implementing and improving inventory management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory control and support organizational goals
• Adapt to new inventory management technologies and systems while providing feedback for continuous improvement

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Storekeeper in a similar industry or related role
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and software platforms
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Solid understanding of inventory management best practices and supply chain fundamentals
• Physical ability to lift carry and move heavy items regularly as required by the role
• Competent math skills for inventory calculations reconciliation and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
• Knowledge of safety regulations compliance requirements and best practices in storage facilities
• Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes and their integration with inventory management
• Problem-solving abilities and resilience in managing inventory challenges
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and systems
• Diploma or Certificate in Storekeeping Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related discipline (preferred)
