Job Description
As a loss adjuster involved in managing a claim from the start through to settlement making decisions on the extent and validity of a claim acceptance rejections liability and checking for any potentially fraudulent activity excellent client service by implementing necessary claims process / workflow and optimization of resources.
Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect/survey the property and physical damage.
Analyze complex information from different sources.
Examine claim liability & prepare and process claim reports.
Travelling across GCC based on the requirement of the company.
Negotiate settlements with claimants
Examine police reports videos from surveillance cameras or audio if applicable
Process new insurance claims notifications.
Collect accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim
Prepare ILA LOR and Policy reports
Explain to policyholders when their claim is not covered.
Monitor the progress of a claim.
Investigate potentially fraudulent claims and be part of the Risk Inspections.
Prepare an initial estimate of costs and then closely monitor and keep a record of costs salvage and arranging the quotation from the contractors.
Ensure fair settlement of a valid claim.
Ensure the customer is treated fairly and that the customer receives excellent service in accordance with industry and company guidelines
Handle any complaints associated with a claim & manage all administration aspects of the claim
Adhere to legal requirements industry regulations and customer quality standards set by the company.
Key Performance Indicators
Non-Motor Claims and Risk Inspections handling & deliverable within the timelines.
Delivering the ILA LOR and Survey reports within the stipulated Turn Around Time.
Activation with the Insurance companies for new business.
Upgradation of personal qualifications and skills.
Minimum level of formal education and/or specialized knowledge
Bachelors degree and Insurance Qualifications.
Experience in conducting physical Inspections & technical reports
Report writing & negotiation skills with clients and contractors
More than 5 years in general Insurance of experience in relevant position
Sharp knowledge of scope of cover of Insurance Policies Terms and Conditions underwriting guidelines and reinsurance terms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Typical Working Conditions
Normal Working hours as per the UAE labor laws.
Traveling as per job requirements.
Nature of the job includes indoor and outdoor works.
Should be accessible over the company mobile phone as and when required.
