Ready to shape major radar wins
We are looking for a senior capture and sales leader to grow Saabs radar business from the UAE across priority markets. You will own the end-to-end capture strategyfrom early opportunity shaping through contract awardworking closely with engineering operations and group stakeholders.

Location: UAE (with international travel)
What youll do
Market & capture leadership
- Own and execute the radar growth and capture strategy aligned to the companys long-term plan and 5-year business plan.
- Identify qualify and shape new radar opportunities (domestic and export) including partners integrators and channel strategies.
- Drive customer engagement plans stakeholder mapping and win strategies (including competitive positioning and price-to-win approach).
Bid & proposal leadership
- Lead major pursuits through Saabs winning business process: capture plans win themes solution shaping internal gates and executive reviews.
- Direct proposal management: coordinate technical operational legal finance and pricing inputs to deliver compliant compelling submissions.
- Negotiate commercial terms and support contract finalization.
Customer & stakeholder management
- Build and sustain trust-based relationships with government military and industry stakeholders (end users procurement and prime/integrator ecosystems).
- Translate operational needs into technically feasible solutions in close collaboration with engineering teams.
Business intelligence & governance
- Maintain and develop a robust opportunity pipeline including forecasting order intake planning and management reporting.
- Drive market intelligence (competitors trends accessible markets barriers offsets/localization where relevant).
What you bring (Qualifications)
Must-have
- 8 years of progressive experience in defense sales/capture/business development with experience in radar/sensors ISR air defense or C2-adjacent solutions.
- Engineering degree or similar military technical background
- Demonstrated record of winning B2G / military procurements (large multi-stakeholder high-compliance pursuits).
- Strong capture competence: opportunity shaping win strategy competitive analysis price-to-win and bid governance.
- Ability to communicate credibly with both technical and operational audiences (engineering teams and military end users).
- Excellent English communication (written and verbal). (Arabic is a plus.)
- High integrity and compliance mindset (export controls anti-corruption customer due diligence).
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
- Ability to obtain required security clearances / background checks.
Preferred
- Experience in Middle East markets and/or international export campaigns.
- Experience working with primes/integrators and partnerships (incl. teaming agreements local partners).
- Familiarity with lifecycle business (support upgrades sustainment) and value-based solution selling.
- People leadership or matrix leadership experience (leading pursuits bid teams or a sales/capture team).
