If you are a Global Project Pursuit and Business Development professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career this role offers the chance to drive strategic business development influence customer decision-making and contribute to Emersons success across the MEA region. You will collaborate with global and regional teams to lead project pursuits strengthen customer relationships and support long-term growth for the Isolation Valve (ISV) Business Unit within the Final Control Group.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
A- GPP
- GPP Manager shall work in conjunction with the regional Isolation Valve Sales team the MEA and global Autosol GPP team and ISV Business Unit Global GPP team for business development and achieve sales targets by providing Sales and Project pursuit support to our internal and external customers in MEA (EPCs and end users).
- Engage early in the project cycle with customers (internal & external) and create differentiation drive preference and be able to spec in products & solutions pertaining to Isolation Valve Business in the project specifications.
- For the role involves significant travelling within the world area and outside as well. There will be a need to engage with EPCs or FEED contactors or end users. To develop the regional business the role involves working in a highly collaborative matrix organization managing the local partner relationship and leveraging the partner resources.
- Business size responsibility: Direct pursuit of greenfield project funnel for next 5 years (estimated value around 250M$) delivering $60-75M/year booking (entity and destination).
- Own other World Areas for MEA Destination KOB1 projects provide end user support priority setting and all needed support to win the project.
- Identify develop and influence the preferential position of ISV product and solution with global EPCs and MEA end users investing in Capex opportunities.
- Provide local strategic relationship influence and value-add support to EPCs OEMs End Users and sales channel.
- Obtain data on projects from public domain magazines and prepare forecasts for upcoming KOB1 projects in MEA region.
- Develop contacts and relationships within the customer to ensure that we are fully aware of their needs.
- Lead and develop the project proposal DOA by ensuring best lean cost effective proposal meeting customer needs is put forward. And be sure to submit competitive technical and commercial input.
- Manage effective use of CRM tool for KOB1 projects. And manage MEA entity and destination KOB1 funnel.
- Work closely with other Emerson Automation Solutions Business units / XBU / GP3 teams for MAC / multi divisional pursuits.
- Ensure compliance with Emerson ethics policy trade compliance policy business unit policy safety and quality program requirements.
B- Midstream O&G Industry BDM
- Develop ISV Business: Own and execute growth strategy for chemical verticals across MEA with clear 3- and 7-year plans.
- Customer & EPC Engagement: Build relationships with top Mid Stream O&G producers EPCs and OEMs; secure specification wins and long-term contracts.
- Business size responsibility for MEA Mid Stream O&G industry entity booking of $33M: pursuit with sales team in the regions.
- Sales & Technical Enablement: Support Sales and Application teams in understanding chemical-critical valve requirements (materials coatings fugitive emissions cycle life).
- Market Differentiation: Position Emerson ISV solutions versus competitors through lifecycle cost reliability diagnostics and service network advantages.
- Portfolio Feedback: Capture product gaps (e.g. alloys cryogenic service high-cycle designs) and work with SBUs to align roadmap.
- Go-to-Market Execution: Develop strategies tailored to sub-industries; run seminars workshops and customer value programs.
- Market Intelligence: Track trends competitor activities and regulatory shifts; identify opportunities in decarbonization (green ammonia CCUS low-carbon methanol).
- Growth Planning: Generate business cases prioritize opportunities and deliver revenue/margin growth in line with ISV objectives.

For This Role You Will Need:
- Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related discipline.
- 10 years of experience in valves Isolation Valve or related equipment within O&G industries.
- Strong understanding of valve applications materials actuation and standards.
- Demonstrated success driving project wins with EPCs and end users in the MEA region.
- Strong commercial acumen negotiation capability and strategic planning skills.
